New Signal Activation at intersection of Highway 30 and Oxford Commons Boulevard

The new signal at the intersection of Highway 30 and Oxford Commons Boulevard will be activated in flash mode on Tuesday, August 25. During this period, the signal will not be used to manage traffic but will flash yellow on Highway 30 and red on Oxford Commons Boulevard. The flash period will last for one week to give motorists time to adjust to the new signal and will be placed in full color operation (red-yellow-green) the week of August 31. While the signal is in flash mode, motorists on Highway 30 facing the yellow flashing lights do not have to stop but should proceed with caution. Motorists on Oxford Commons Boulevard or the NEMEPA/Stout’s Carpet driveway MUST stop and yield to other drivers while the light is flashing red. Please use caution through this area as motorists adjust to the new traffic control pattern.
