University Avenue at Highway 6 Closed Beginning May 28th
University Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Highway 6 beginning Tuesday, May 28th for construction of a roundabout for the future FD “Buddy” East Parkway. Once construction of the roundabout is complete, the existing roadway at University and Highway 6 will be removed and FD “Buddy” East Parkway will be used for access to University from Highway 6. University Avenue will remain open to all commercial and residential properties throughout construction. Please use Highway 334 or Highway 7 as alternate routes to University Avenue until construction is complete this summer.
