Historic Properties Commission

Historic Properties Commission Regular Meetings: Fourth Tuesday at 5:30 PM at one of the various properties. Call for the specific location.

The Historic Properties Commission was established to study, make recommendations and advise the City’s governing authorities on the management, maintenance, marketing, and long-range preservation of the City’s historic homes and/or properties. The Historic Properties Commission shall further promote the public trust through program transparency, and shall identify solutions through community outreach and involvement in its decision-making process.

The Historic Properties Commission currently manages the LQC Lamar House, Burns Belfry and Cedar Oaks, and Skipwith Cottage.
