Important Update - Highway 7 and University Avenue

IMPORTANT UPDATE/HIGHWAY 7 AND UNIVERSITY AVENUE: As of today, Wednesday, February 26th, MDOT has closed the ramps on both the West and East side of Highway 7. Closing all 4 ramps at once allows a greater scope of work to be done in a shorter amount of time. The current timeline estimates all 4 ramps to be operational by the week of Double Decker Arts Festival 2025 and before Graduation weekend. Please understand that weather and other conditions may cause this timeline to be adjusted. UNIVERSITY AVENUE WILL REMAIN OPEN TO TRAFFIC THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE RAMP CLOSURE. The City will continue to post updates on detours and other information as this project progresses. Please use caution in this area and consider alternate routes.
