Crews will be working at the intersection of South Lamar and Pea Ridge Road beginning Wednesday, May 15th. Work includes removing a large part of the existing asphalt pavement to improve the safety at the intersection. Once completed, the intersection will have nearly a 90 degree, or right-angle, turn off of South Lamar. The completed intersection will be similar to the intersections at Whippoorwill, Office Park Drive, or Veterans Drive.

The City of Oxford Water Department will disconnect water service on Thursday, May 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in order to make repairs. Customers north of Highway 6, beginning at North Thacker Loop and going west toward County Road 165, will be without water during this time.
