Sisk and Highway 7 Ramp Closure—Detour Route Remains on (Special) Election Day

The closure of Sisk Avenue at the southbound ramps of Highway 7 will still be in place on Tuesday, July 2nd, which is the day of the City of Oxford Special Election for Ward 4 Alderman. Voters will need to use North Lamar or Bramlett/Park Drive as an alternate route to Highway 30 and then Ed Perry Boulevard (across from North East Power) to reach the Conference Center. The northbound ramps will remain open on election day so that voters approaching from University Avenue can exit Highway 7 at Sisk Avenue. Please drive with caution through the work zone as you make your way to vote.
