DEQ Notice

Notice is hereby given that the Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority will hold a public hearing to amend the Solid Waste Management Plan in reference to the proposed expansion of the City of Oxford Class I Rubbish Site located at 55 CR 3067, Oxford, Mississippi in Sections 5 and 8, Township 9 South, Range 3 West.

Virginia H. Chrestman Memorial Outstanding Employee of the Year Award

The award was established in memory of Virginia Harrington Chrestman, who was a long-serving and much-loved employee of the City of Oxford. Virginia worked as Secretary, Deputy City Clerk and from August 1, 1974 until June 1, 2003 served as City Clerk, working under former mayors John 0 . Leslie, Patricia C. Lamar, Richard Howorth and current Mayor George "Pat" Patterson.

Prescription Drug Program

The City of Oxford has a program to offer savings on prescription drugs to residents who are without health insurance, a traditional benefits plan, or have prescriptions that are not covered by insurance.
