Fraudulent Utility Service Payment Calls

Oxford Electric Department would like their customers to be aware of fraudulent calls being made asking for payment of utility services with the threat of service being cut off otherwise.

Prescription Drug Program

The City of Oxford has a program to offer savings on prescription drugs to residents who are without health insurance, a traditional benefits plan, or have prescriptions that are not covered by insurance.

Traffic Calming Policy Approved

Requests Prioritized on First-Come, First Served Basis

The Board of Alderman adopted a new Traffic Calming Policy at its April 16, 2013 meeting. The policy provides a step-by-step procedure to address citizens concerns regarding speeding cars in neighborhoods, excessive cut-through traffic, or other safety concerns that may arise.
